Got this link for a fabulous photo viewer from Jeremy Keith at Domscripting. What a find! It works in IE too!

When you click a thumbnail image to view the full-size version the page dulls with a beautiful semi-transparent haze and the full-sizer is displayed over the top. Check it out!
