My Book Stack
20th Nov 2007
After checking out the new blog design of Lokesh Dhakar (he of Lightbox fame) I liked the idea of his book meme, which I've decided to continue.
The books in my stack are often ones I refer to for inspiration when designing web sites. The list from top to bottom:
- Getting Business To Come To You by Paul and Sarah Edwards
- Lingua Universalis: Global Wordless Understanding by Mutabor
- Thinking With Type - A Critical Guide by Ellen Lupton
- Building Accessible Websites by Joe Clark
- Baldessari: works from 1988 - 1999
- Communicate: Independent British Graphic Design since the Sixties by Rick Poynor
- Taschen's 1000 Favourite Websites
- Dos Logos by Roland Muller
- Graphic Design for the 21st Century by Charlotte and Peter Fiell
