Textile artist and crafts person Jennifer Collier makes rather tasteful paper scultpures:

...by bonding, waxing, trapping and stitching I produce unusual paper ‘fabrics’, which are used to explore the ‘remaking’ of household objects...

These objects include cameras, typewriters, dresses, gloves and crockery. Really beautiful stuff.
