- ShareMeNot - Firefox add-on designed to prevent third-party buttons (such as the Facebook “Like” button or the Twitter “tweet” button) embedded by sites across the Internet from tracking you until you actually click on them
- Ghostery - tracks the trackers by showing you who's interested in your activity, then blocks them
- Chosen - javsacript plug-in that makes long, unwieldy select boxes much more user-friendly
- Shading with CSS text-shadows - some nifty css for bold, 3D text
- Modern Mixtapes - the commercial DJ mix vs the multitude of free podcasts and DJ mixes available everywhere
- Swiffy - software from Google that converts Flash SWF files to HTML5, allowing you to reuse Flash content on devices without a Flash player (such as iPhones and iPads).
- jQuery Boilerplate - get started with jQuery plug-ins development
- Urbanyx - jQuery comments editor
