Grey Concentric
12th Nov 2010
Grey Concentric, an unusual font concept by Dries Wiewauters.
Grey Concentric was designed in November 2008. It contains elements for constructing patterns and overlays. If the font size is equal to the leading, all lines connect smoothly to set larger fields. Circles can be found in the numbers (0-9), dot patterns are placed in the capitals (A-F) and the lowercase contains line patterns (a- l).
It contains 2 Opentype features which enable special abilities. The ligature feature is needed to make some patterns connect smoothly, while contextual alternates inverts the dot and line patterns.
