Vinyl vs. digital

In this age of digital downloading and digital DJing, it makes no sense for labels to release on vinyl only, writes Ronan Fitzgerald. What I got from this article is that some music labels are making releases vinyl-only in an attempt to curb illegal downloading... which is just daft to me! Also, I'd been interested to know what the difference in sales figures between a vinyl-only and a digital label are?
