Firebug tips and tricks

I installed Firebug a while back and occasionally opened it up to disect problems when they were flagged up, but to be honest, I couldn't find any useful features in Firebug that the Web Developer Toolbar didn't already provide me with, so I uninstalled it. The reason for this was because Firebug is primarily a JavaScript bug finder with extra bits that overlapped the Web Developer Toolbar functionality...and I don't do too much JavaScript. So when I happened upon this article highlighting Firebug tips and tricks I hoped to find some pointers on features I'd overlooked... but no.
