Fix poor performance in Firefox with safe mode

Firefox can start up in safe mode, which means it loads the application without themes or extensions. This is the shortcut routine:

Windows Start button > Run > Enter "C:\\Program Files\\Mozilla Firefox\\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

If you notice a dramatic improvement in performance, it's likely an extension or theme is slowing you down. Disable them one by one until you find the culprit.
